Story Line:
Film dates back to 1960s about a young literate who is forced to take up an NGO job of teaching the kids who were working in a brick making sector by his father.
The lead character played by "Vimal" encounters several problems from the kids who were never used to sitting in one place and being taught. The problem may be losing his radio/ getting hit by a goat and many more. The comical situations between the lead actor and kids are entertaining.
In parallel, a love story develops between the lead actor and actress who at first tries to milk him off his money but later enjoys the characteristic views of the actor.
The story thus moves around and in the end actor convinces the villagers about the importance of education and succeeds in inciting an interest in children to learn and get educated. The story ends with lead actor deciding to settle in the village despite of getting a government job which was the aim of his father and reason for lead actor to join an NGO job.
Inference: The film tries to highlight the menace of child labor rampant in India and calls among young people to share the gift of education with deprived kids who are being kept away from the main stream of society. Meaning of the film title, Wikipedia says that the title means " Come to Win"
Out of Five
Three and half stars for the story
Four stars for the choreography and music
Best Pick: Personally I enjoyed the song "Aaana Avanna song" which has a most complex music composition I had ever heard as well as a convincing lyrics to be heard and acknowledged. You can hear the song from below music player and post your comments about the same.
I am very happy to see this movie and enjoyed this film very much after a long break. Thanks to director sargunam and actor/actress Vimal, Iniya, K. Bhagyaraj & Ponvannan for their tribute to this film
