Never had watched Bond film on theater screens so decided to spend on the latest Bond Movie titled "Sky fall". Always careful to read the reviews before watching any film was quite positive and excited of being greeted with an good entertainer in the cinema hall.

In the last minute just after plan to watch the movie was fixed, I was shocked to read the comments of the people who had already watched the movie. Many termed it as boring.... :p

Well could not change the plan and along with my friend got into the cinema hall with the tickets in hand. We were late for few minutes and hence had to run from ticket counter to the screen. Ran like a Bond to watch a  Bond movie.. LOL.

Occupied our seats and hall was filled with few vacant seats.. Film was on the roll...

Next Two hours was fun...

Bond means different for different people.. For the people in India he is a guy who is assisted with latest gadgets to complete most difficult tasks in the most difficult situations at most difficult locations of the world.

But that kind of Bond was missing in this film. Here you will find a Bond who is filmed to reality than to a fiction. The story is believable... in other words it is Classic... which speaks of life of True Secret Agents and their true struggle.

Film had been successful in exposing  mind of the people who are in power and the emotions they undergo while ordering for execution of their own people in a battle for the sake of their own country which was the case with character 'M'.

Bue to misunderstanding, their own friends turn foe and as a result you will find Raoul Silva, a former MI6 agent hunting for 'M'. Same situation was experienced by James Bond who was too executed under the instructions of 'M' for the sake of country but still he was wise enough to understand the compulsions of high profile jobs after he escaped the attack. Later puts his life under risk to save the same 'M'.

Film speaks about the ethics, film speaks about sacrifice. One of the best theme in the film is about the fact that this time enemy is not in any other country nor any other organisation, it is their own people. The enemy is misunderstanding and Bond is once again successful in hunting it down.

Of all the film, it was one particular sequence wherein Bond waits for the Villain in an old House called 'Sky fall' along with 'M' and an old man which thrilled me a lot.

Reactions of Villain was quiet entertaining who is unpredictable in nature but still justifies the character he plays to a best extent...

You will not find any new gadgets, not so sexy ladies, but the film portrays the true lives of secret agents...Kudos to Bond team for come out with a good one...

And I was relieved for not being fooled with any childish stories...on the their hand there were many scenes which lasted for few seconds..poor editing...!!!

Four out of Five stars for a Classic story line...!!!

Lastly obituaries to 'M' who will be seen for the last time in the Bond films..!!!

Brothers- Movie review ( Maatran in Tamil)

Director: K.V. Anand
Producer: Bellamkonda Suresh
Music Director: Harris Jayaraj
Lyricst: Chandra Bose , Vanamali
Actors:
Surya Sivakumar as Vimal/Akhil
Kajal Aggarwal as Anjali

College ended earlier and I had time to watch one of my favorite star Surya on Screen. This time he had doled the role of a Siamese twin in the film Brothers ( in telugu) which in tamil was released as Matraan. It was a last minute decision to watch the film on a day other than weekend and a search on google took me as well as my college mate to a theatre near Kanteerva stadium.
We missed the first song but not the storyline. To speak in general Directors are knee bent to showcase surya as a savior of the world be it in "yelam arivu" where he saves the people from deadly disease or the matraan/Brothers. In this film, he saves India from an adulterated food scam.
Intentions are good but the way stories were told doesn’t convince the audience. When matters of saving the country/saving the world are taken as a plot it requires a intense level of commitment. A director really needs to visualize himself on the top of the world so that he can really understand the pulse of a country or the world as whole.
But the film failed to showcase that genuine concern of the director for the betterment of the country or the world. We can easily make out that hero and director wanted to make a good commercial popcorn picture. When they wish for pure commercial success, it is better to leave the world or country saving concepts because a man who thinks for the world needs to think more than about money. So in this way, the Brothers have all types of masala as required for a commercial film but by touching a noble plot, director has weakened the screenplay which makes concept a dud.Music is completely out of sync with the theme. But the foreign actors have contributed to  a  good part of the film..!!I request directors of the film not to play with true emotions of a person just for minting money..I give two and a half out of five and this is mainly for my dear actor Surya…!!!!

A good song from the movie which I enjoyed the best for you... :)
