Myna- Kannada movie review

Director: Nagashekhar
Producer: NS Rajakumar
Music Director: Jessigift
Cast:
Chetan Kumar as Sathya Murthy

Nithya Menon as Myna

I had borrowed a software and needed to return to my brother whose house was situated at Jayanagar. It was Sunday evening and even my brother was feeling bored. It was a last minute decision that we immediately made up our mind to watch a film at Eshwari theater and to our luck tickets weren't sold out.

Got the tickets and entered the wide hall. People were busy settling and film began as per schedule. It is a romantic story with a tragic ending. Though the story line is unbelievable but carries a tag of " TRUE STORY" with it.

Lead actor who is selected for a TV show happens to meet his lady love on a train which runs between Castle rock and Goa via Doodh Sagar waterfalls. The guy gets so much in love with his girl that he walks out of the show not wanting to share his hundred rupee note ( Watch the film you will do understand). If i were in his place, I would have borrowed another hundred rupee note and would have continued with the game.

So the hero manages to impress his lady love in disguise of a beggar without a leg. Story just builds pace when the heroine comes to know that hero is indeed with good legs and when hero comes to know that heroine has no walk-able legs.

After romance, its about a bad doctor who is killed by the hero and finally both hero and heroine are killed due a word uttered by police officer which is heard wrong by the constables and it is " DON'T SHOOT". And I got to know a new meaning for the word " COLOURFUL" from the film.

Cinematography is great and camera man has been successful in capturing the wet look of the Doodhsagar water falls.

Finally I would like to say that I cant believe the story line and Chetan needs to tune up his emotional skills like Nithya menon who is truly fabulous. A superb song for you from the film:

Charminar- Kannada Film review

Director: R Chandru
Producer: R Chandru
Music Director: Hari , Gurukiran
Lyricst: Kaviraj
Cast:
Prem Kumar as Mohan
Meghana Gaonkar as Radha

Had done with my exams, called my dip friends and a date was fixed to get together for those funny moments of life...we love to be together..

And my horse was ready on a Sunday morning ,I mean my bike, got on to it and reached CPRI , suddenly clutch wire of my bike got cut. Now i didn't want to disappoint my friends and parked the vehicle near a school to join my gang.

Four friends together and there was happiness, checked out the nearest theater and it was Santosh featuring CHARMINAR FILM. Got the tickets and settled in our seats.

Charminar film did start with story line about group of people arranging for a get together and it was a co-incidence we friends did watch the film after a get together indeed.
Though the film starts with friendship, it is more about the love between a guy and his school mate who happens to be alumni of the school.

Film is quite romantic which has that ability of of inciting love in your heart and makes u feel that unique experience and story line is not so complicated too. But there is a unnecessary speech and story twists at the end part of the film which u may find it difficult to digest.

Otherwise it is a movie with good message which has that ability to make ur hearts melt. I loved the music too but don't remember any songs or its lines. In the acting department Prem and his co-star have done justice to their roles.

Charminar , its a one time watchable movie. A song for you from the film.

Godavari- Telugu Film Review

Director: Sekhar Kammula
Producer: Raju GVG
Music Director: K.M.Radhha Krishnan
Actor:      Sumanth
Actress:  Kamalinee Mukherjee

I am loving to write a review about this movie...though little old (2006) but I had missed to include this one in my collection...to be fulfilled now...!!!

Godavari.. name of the river flowing in Andhra Pradesh state of India...and this film is about a love story sprouting between two souls travelling together on a wonderful boat journey to Bhadrachalam...

Love this film as it clearly distinguishes love from other age based feel..which many telugu cinemas fail to convey to the audience....a matured love story indeed..!!!

Film keeps u involved in its story with its unique high quality content...Lead heroine, an aspiring enterpreneur on a holy visit to temple meets her love who is good but unsettled in life..Hero is quite sad as a girl who he liked rejects him due to his slow upright behavior ....

Both the lead actors find good attachment in them in terms of their ideas and  enjoy their togetherness...!!!

But in a twisting tale even the other girl feels to be missing the hero and comes back to him...This creates confusion in the story..

Rest of the film is about the incidents which gets Hero and Heroine closer as well as gets them far away...in the end .. u will find them being together...A happy ending indeed...Its something exotic which u will enjoy about the film..!!!

Director has done a great job to create that cute feel or long for true love, music assists director in a great way...

A Superb song for you.....
